Sparks Sharks are Always Moving Forward!

Mrs. Lauer is a kindergarten teacher at Sparks Elementary School. Mrs. Lauer grew up in Catonsville, Maryland. When she was a child, she wanted to be an Airplane Pilot when she grew up. As a child, her two favorite subjects in school were Science and Reading. Out of school, she enjoyed playing with the friends in her neighborhood. At home her family includes two ragdoll cats and a Sheltie. Her favorite thing about teaching is that getting to know the children and seeing how they grow up in just one school year. One goal she has as an adult is to travel across the United States. She’s made it to Iowa so far. Some of her hobbies are researching her family’s genealogy, sewing, reading, and traveling. An interesting fact about her is that she is one of eight children. She has four sisters and three brothers.
