Sparks Sharks are Always Moving Forward! |
Mr. Harrington was born in Frederick, MD, and he said to me,
“I played a lot of sports, and did pretty well in school. I played basketball
and ran track in high school. Then I went to Villa Julie College, and ran track
and Cross Country.”
I ask him, “Was school easy for you?” He said it was difficult at first,
but
he had a great 5th grade teacher who helped to turn things around. School then
became a little easier. Next, I asked him “What inspired you to get this job?”
He said ,“My love for teaching,. I just love my job, and the kids are great. I
worked in warehouses during college. I operated forklifts and other machinery to
help pay for college.”
When I asked him what he likes about his job he said,
“The 4th grade team and the staff, plus, I love the kids! Sparks has
great students, staff, and parents.
I asked him what he likes to do in his spare time and he said “I play basketball
run, and lift weights. Sometimes, I’ll read a book.”
His father is his hero. He is also a teacher, and has taught him everything he
know about life and everything else. Finally, I asked him “ What is the most
important to you in life?”
He said, “My family, I love my family and my fiancé, Katie.”,
