Website: Our school website has many resources that are available for you and your child’s use. There is a link at the bottom of the page called links for parents which has many links to the resources at this Kiosk, as well as links for your child to use. This site also has the school handbook, Kindergarten Registration form, Some of the grade level newsletters (depends on the grade level), Sparks Newsletter, BCPS and School Calendar, and Lists of School Supplies. If there is anything that you think is missing from our website please feel free to contact Mr. Briscuso for consideration.

Hereford Recreation Council: The Hereford Recreation Council website is a great resource for you to find information about the many different sporting activities in our area.

Internet Security: One of the greatest problems that is facing our world today is internet security for our children. There are links for you to help keep your child safe on the Internet and ways to talk about your child keeping safe

Pearson Successnet Program: The Person Successnet Program is designed to go with the BCPS Math curriculum. There are many activities for you there including activities for you to do with your child as well as games for the students to play. Your child got there username and password at the beginning of the year including a letter sent to you. If you have any questions or if you need the login credentials again then please contact Mr. Briscuso and I send it to you through email or home with your child.
MSA Science Program Online Science Test: This marks the second year that MSA science test is being offered online. Your child will be taking this test in the month of April. At the elementary level we are not allowed to teach typing (currently). It would not hurt you to have your child start learning to type on your own.
Assess Trax: This is a secure program used by Baltimore County Public School Teachers for data collection and analysis of student progress. Educators post standardized test scores which may be accessed at the school and district level. Results are used to plan individualized instruction and drive professional development for teachers.
Library Media Services: The Library Media Services website is a great resource for you and your child. There are links to the BCPL Website, as well as many research tools for your child to use at all grade levels. These can be accessed from home.

Safari Montage: This is a great tool that is being used by teachers in BCPS schools to provide videos that support our curriculum. The videos are to support student learning in their classroom. Nearly every teacher at Sparks has the ability to watch these videos with there class. Examples of these include Bill Nigh the Science guy and videos books. More information about this program can be found at the Library Media Services Website or you could talk with Mrs. Sympson.
